Morjana recognises the name as that of a powerful demon found in Moroccan folklore, summoned by women to exact vengeance on men. When Amélie is later assaulted by her ex, she remembers Morjana’s story and, angry and upset, impulsively summons the spirit. The next day, her ex is found dead.
